Day 181

It's hot, so we were in the pool again today.

Lincoln will be 3 in only 2 months! That's crazy!! I've started making his birthday list, and he wants to have a dinosaur party, which is odd because I thought it would be Batman. He doesnt' even like dinosuars that much, but that's what he wants.

Day 180

Today I pulled out a Baby Einstein DVD set that I was going to list for sale. Of course, then Lincoln wanted to watch it. OMG, they were soooo excited about everything on the dvd. They pointed out every shape, color, toy, animal they saw. The first one wasn't even in English and they loved it. Harrison was walking around saying "shalom" for about a half hour. I guess I'll keep them.

Day 179

35 weeks and Amelia is the length of a pineapple! She's getting big!!

We went to see "Finding Dory". We went to the first showing of the day, and gave them lots of snacks. Lincoln did great. Harrison sat good until he got antsy with about 20 minutes left of the movie, but he was easily persuaded with candy. They both sugar crashed on the way home lol

Day 178

Daddy put him to work today. Don't worry he liked it.

Day 177

Lincoln loves Watermelon!

I went to the grocery store today, and asked him what I should bring him back. He said meatballs. So I made meatballs for dinner. He didn't eat one bite, all he ate was watermelon.

Day 176

Took the kiddos to the big pool today. Harrison actually  had a lot of fun in the baby pool, both littles played well with the other kids, and Ethan played with Maja and stayed busy.

We stayed about 3 hours and Harrison ended up falling asleep in the pool.

Day 175

Nothing says summertime like pools & popsicles!

They played out there for 4 hours, and are both passed out at 7:45. Hope they stay that way!!

Day 174

Today we went on a bike ride...

And this guy had his 18 month checkup. His face cracks me up, he was so unamused that this strange man was listening to his heart. He is 23 lbs 9 oz and 33" tall. Doctor says he thinks he will be above average height and skinny.

We went to a rummage sale at Ethan's new school this morning, and these helicopters are right in the parking lot. Harrison loves airplanes/helicopters so I thought he would be excited, but he was scared of them and wouldn't get too close. They are pretty big and it had a face on it lol

Side note: the red one is a large, the blue one is a medium, but Lincoln refuses to wear the non blue one, so it's super tight and Harrison's is a bit loose. He's nuts but they say pick your battles, and a blue diaper is not one of mine.

Day 168

We made cookies today, and for his "treat" (I guess cookies aren't enough?) I gave him some chocolate melts because they are BLUE. He's obsessed with blue right now.

Lately, he has been rolling into the crack of the couch to sleep. Maybe it's like being swaddled as an infant?

Day 163 (Waikiki)

For Ethan's birthday outing, he wanted to go to Waikiki and eat grilled cheese and shaved ice. We went down to the Hale Koa hotel to swim and walked over to Cheeseburger Waikiki for lunch.

Lunch was good, they were all excited about the umbrellas that came in their food and the light up cups.

Birthday Coke. He's allowed one, once a  year, for his birthday.

Got to the pool, and there was a LONG line. Apparently everyone on the island came to the pool. Wait in line, get in, get the babies all lotioned and ready to go, walking to the pool and the whistle blows, break time. Link is of course pissed, he wants to swim dang it.

Wait out the break time, and finally get to swim. For aobut 45 minutes, then the whistle blows again. Pool is contaminated (put swim diapers on your kids people!!!) Closed for 3 hours. Sigh.

Link & Ethan played in the baby pool for about a half hour, but there were just too many kids in there. We ended up eating shaved ice and leaving.

So, it wasn't the best birthday outing, but he got his grilled cheese and shaved ice.
