Mud....

Now Ethan is normally not a messy kid (thankfully for Mommy!) but today we were playing water balloons outside, and one thing lead to another, which lead to a giant mud puddle in the backyard. E was having a ball splashing & throwing it everywhere YUCK!!

E finally got his hair cut today. He was badly in need of a trim, but wanted to go all the way bald, good thing summer is coming :)

Dragons

Today we went to see the movie "How to Train Your Dragon". Ethan has a chore/responsability chart, that he gets to pick his reward for if he gets so many stars. The past few weeks he's been getting money to bring to Disney, but this week he wanted to go see the movie. It was a cute movie, and the 3D was much better than the other 2 movies we saw in 3D. It didnt' give me a headache at all, and it was a really clear picture. He now wants to trade Elvis for a pet dragon OR get Elvis some wings so he can fly :P So here is his impression of a dragon....

Green Day!

Here he is with his bean sprout that he planted at school. His teacher told him if he was lucky it would grow into a giant beanstalk like in the story. Well his grew 3 inches since yesterday, so he is convinced it's going to grow to the sky :)

Yellow Day!!

Well, my computer stopped working this week, so I haven't been able to update. The wireless connector thing died AGAIN...so annoying. Anywho, I'm on Bill's laptop and got some pictures uploaded so here you go.

It's been beautiful here, in the 80s every day for the past week or so. Ethan is loving it because he gets to wear shorts. This week is the week of the Military Child, so they have different themes every day. Yesterday was blue day & crazy hair day.

Sadly, I didn't get any good pictures in his adorable outfit, because he got mac & cheese all down the front of his shirt at lunchtime. So we changed his shirt, and got some cute pictures in the backyard. The kid throws out some weird poses/faces though....

He still finds it hilarious to squirt gun me.

This afternoon we started practicing for Tball. He starts in May, but he wanted to get a headstart. The pictures are not very good because the sun was behind me and my camera is broken. The first picture reminds me of Stevie playing Tball - hopefully he won't put the glove on his head during his games LOL

And look, our flowers we planted are growing!
Sorry I've been slacking about updating the last couple of days...I've been sick and going to bed super early the past few nights. So here are a few highlights of what we have been up to since the weekend.

Saturday we went to the Army sponsored egg hunt on post. Ethan had a blast, and ran into a bunch of the kids from his class. Here he is dancing with his friend Kadence before the egg hunt. My only complaint was all the mud that was out there! It poured the whole day before so I guess not much could be done about that.
Sunday was of course Easter, and the bunny was good to my little man. He got way too much stuff, 4 baskets from the bunny and 1 from my parents. His favorite things were his Super Mario shoes & pjs, 5 little monkey finger puppets, and a whoopie cushion. He can't wait to try that out on Daddy!
He also enjoyed the silly string that Granny got him - it's still all over my deck, thanks a lot!
And squirt guns! His first one ever, because I have never let him have guns before. He thinks it's hilarious to soak me with them, figures!

This is the golden egg. The easter bunny leaves clues all over the house leading to the special egg. This year it had a Wii Controller Pez like thing in it. I think it's more fun just to follow the clues and find the egg!
Here he is being awesome (his words, not mine lol) in his pink outfit on Monday. He's been dying to wear this, as we all know pink is his favorite color. If you say anything about it, he will be quick to tell you that real men wear pink. ;)

Yesterday E went to the DR for his sports physical (for tball) and his 5 year checkup (slightly early). He is officially 41 1/2 inches tall! That means he can go on almost every ride at Disney World, including Tower of Terror and Splash Mountain. Woo hoo! He weighs 37.1 lbs, and is in the 30th percentile for height & weight. He had to get 3 shots, and was super brave. No tears or flinching or anything. He is crabby today though, and his leg hurts.

After school today I took E to the park for a bit and we had a picnic lunch. Check out these weird swings they have at the park....no normal ones, just this. He was not feeling it.
