Day 59 (Lincoln's Half Birthday)

My Lincoln is two and a half!!
We rented "The Good Dinosaur" and made pizza (which he didn't really eat because he ate too much popcorn, oops). He liked his blue cake, and did not like the candle that he bit in half.
Harrison tried to help him blow the candles out, which he did not appreciate.
MMM Cake!!
Not my best work, but he had a cute watermelon cake this morning and decided to pull it frosting first onto the floor, so this was my second try and I was lazy.

Day 58

Kicking off our summer bucket list early this year, because it's more of a "do before baby is born" list. We went to the Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens, where they have a little catch and release fishing lake. They provide bamboo poles, and you use bread as bait. It was beautiful there, and the kids were pretty well behaved. We ate our picnic and then fished. Only Lincoln caught one, he is very proud. I think it's because he insisted on using the rest of his sandwich so it smelled like ham :) Harrison kept rolling down the hill and scaring his Mama. He spent most of the time sitting on the blanket eating. Link ended up with one foot in the lake and a wet shoe, which he was not too happy about. It was fun though, and I'd go again. Note to self, we only need 2 poles, the 3rd one just is used as a weapon. Oh, no one got hurt or hooked themselves or anyone else, so success!

Have a picnic --- check!

Go fishing ---- check!

On the way back we stopped to feed the ducks our leftover "bait", but only the fish came to eat.

Day 55

Totally did not tell them to do this. Sometimes they get along.

My favorite outfit ever. I've probably talked about it before I love it so much. It was the only outfit I saved from Ethan, and probably one of the first Gymboree outfits I ever bought. I can't believe he left the hat on the whole time he played outside.

Day 54

Not sure what is up with the hands, but that is the face he gives me now lol.

Lincoln pushing him is just the greatest thing ever.

And I've started feeling Millie move a bit more. She must be getting bigger!

Day 53

I have a new dinner helper, he's very good at shaking the shake n bake :)

This guy has a cough, but he's not sick. And he's scrunched into his shirt, but he's not cold. So don't even ask him.

Day 52

According to the baby app this week, 17 weeks, baby Playdoh aka Millie is as big as a playstation controller.

They both looked and smiled at the same time. Miracle!

Day 51

Haircut day! For the first time, Lincoln didn't cry at all. He sat very nice and she did a good job. I think it's the shortest he's had it cut, but it looks cute. Not in his eyes anymore, and I swear everytime they cut it it gets even curlier.

Before, he is actually happy to be in the train car. And after, still wet but he can see!
Poor baby H doesn't have enough hair for a haircut, but he likes sitting in the airplane.

At home, after I washed it. It's so curly!
This boy had a mullet and it looks somewhat better. Hoping it will look better after he washes it.

Day 50

There is nothing more exhausting than taking a 2 and a 1 year old to the store. There is crying, whining, climbing, yelling, kicking, and running. Target was ok. Lincoln actually did really well in there, he didn't ride in the cart and he listened great. Then Bill wanted to go into the shoe store. They have no carts, so two wild children on the loose.

So cute and sweet, right? That lasted about the 3 seconds it took to take the picture.

Then there was peek a boo behind shoe boxes (and under that lovely table right there with the nice red tablecloth)

Then there was running to catch up with Daddy.

and then he was given watered down Sprite for being good LOL. He's not naughty, he's just energetic :P

This one we took in the parking lot waiting for Bill to drop off the Target purchases and I just really like it.

Day 49

Sleepy baby.

Day 48

It's so weird to me that Harrison is the same age now as Lincoln was when we moved here. He is still such a baby. It doesn't feel like we have been gone that long, but then I realize things like this and it feels like forever ago. Harrison's whole lifetime! And a new baby will be this old before we go home. So crazy!!

Day 47

I spent all day taking pictures and sorting baby clothes, this was the only one I took that wasn't shoes or clothes.
