Day 3: Red

The elves made us breakfast...

And Lincoln and Harrison made Santa faces

Ethan had his winter concert, which wasn't nearly as bad as I feared, just very loud. Of course Millie cried as soon as it got quiet and began, and the two boys had to be removed because they couldn't sit still, but other than that, it was fine.

December 2nd

December theme of the day challenge Day 2 (I missed Day 1)
Favorite Christmas Movie - ours is Elf

Our Elves brought a cute wooden cookie set, it was a big hit! Lincoln played with it for over and hour before falling asleep cuddling the fake knife. (what, that isn't normal??)

December 1st

Today we took our kiddos to see Mickey Mouse! Oh, how I miss Disney World, I cannot wait to take these crazy people. Especially Harrison. He is smitten with all the characters. "Me hug him, me hug him". We had to wait in line to meet Mickey, and when he got the go ahead he went running.

Look at him look at her adoringly
They brought him a birthday cupcake, which he proceeded to eat every sprinkle off of and none of the cake.

Pluto's coming!!

 Smooshy face

Lincoln was so very excited to go...

But then very shy when he was near the characters. When Pluto came by, he slowly crept around the entire table while Harrison hugged him 100 times, until he was finally close enough to get in the picture. Once he got there, he was ok.

I had to hug Mickey myself before he would do it.

Ethan is now considered an adult by Disney rules, so he had to eat a lot to make his plate worth it lol. To Ethan that means pastries and cheese.

Never too old to hug Mickey

lol he didn't see Pluto coming

Millie's first time in a restaurant high chair.

And first character encounter...

she liked him :)

Today our elves were reading stories to other toys and they brought advent calendars. Lincoln got Lego Star Wars, Ethan got tsum tsums and Harrison got Thomas the Train.

December 5

Today Ethan's Leap class went on a field trip to the nursing home to sing Christmas carols & bring gifts to the residents. I think Ethan was a bit freaked out, but all the kids were great singers and the people seemed to enjoy it (at least the ones that were awake and knew what was going on).Afterwards we had lunch at McDonald's (all the kid's favorite part) and then we went to an old Stagecoach stop that is in our town square. That part was pretty interesting. It was built in the 1850's and was a Union Hospital during the civil war. It was neat to see the old buildings and all of the things that they found underneath it when they were restoring it.Momo made Ethan breakfast this morning, and gave it a little extra magic. His cereal milk turned pink! Ethan wouldn't even try it b/c he was sure that Momo put blood in it....such a weirdo.

December 1

Our house is all decorated and ready for Christmas. Aside from our Christmas tree smelling like mouse pee from being stored in my parent's shed, everything went up smoothly. Oh wait, Ethan also broke the very first ornament that he pulled out of the tote. It was the Santa handprint that he made last year, and thankfully we had an extra one in there, or I would have been really sad.

Mr. Momo has been up to some mischief... one night he switched out our Christmas stocking with new underwear. He also unrolled Ethan's toilet paper and turned the water in the bowl green! Silly elf.
Ethan was pretty excited to start his 3 advent calendars today, yes he ended up with 3 this year. He will certainly know what day it is all month at least!

Happy Birthday Papa (and Elvis)!

Momo, that sneaky elf, crepe papered Ethan into his bedroom. LOL. Ethan didn't think it was very funny, but I did! After school today, we went to Cub Scouts and made Christmas cards & ornaments for soldiers that will be in the hospital this Christmas. They turned out really cute!

November 15

Basketball Practice number 2 went pretty well. There were no injuries! woo hoo! Some of the kids are really bratty though, running around, doing cartwheels, just all around not listening to the coach. It's so annoying. I dislike other people's children a lot of the time. Anywho, he made 2 baskets, and was so cute on defense. He likes to guard people.

Momo brought Ethan this suncatcher craft kit today, he did a super job painting them. We've been up at 6:30 everyday since the stinking time change, so we have extra time in the mornings. He was done with these before school this morning.
