December 1st

Today we took our kiddos to see Mickey Mouse! Oh, how I miss Disney World, I cannot wait to take these crazy people. Especially Harrison. He is smitten with all the characters. "Me hug him, me hug him". We had to wait in line to meet Mickey, and when he got the go ahead he went running.

Look at him look at her adoringly
They brought him a birthday cupcake, which he proceeded to eat every sprinkle off of and none of the cake.

Pluto's coming!!

 Smooshy face

Lincoln was so very excited to go...

But then very shy when he was near the characters. When Pluto came by, he slowly crept around the entire table while Harrison hugged him 100 times, until he was finally close enough to get in the picture. Once he got there, he was ok.

I had to hug Mickey myself before he would do it.

Ethan is now considered an adult by Disney rules, so he had to eat a lot to make his plate worth it lol. To Ethan that means pastries and cheese.

Never too old to hug Mickey

lol he didn't see Pluto coming

Millie's first time in a restaurant high chair.

And first character encounter...

she liked him :)

Today our elves were reading stories to other toys and they brought advent calendars. Lincoln got Lego Star Wars, Ethan got tsum tsums and Harrison got Thomas the Train.

Millie's Halloween Pictures
The little boys decided to be dragons, so what goes with a dragon better than a princess?

So in love with her little crown.

Sleeping Beauty and her forest friend. I may attempt some tomorrow with her actually sleeping, but she likes to be swaddled so not sure how that would go.

September 25th

When I was pregnant, all I wished for was a good sleeper. I finally got one! (Knock on wood). Her first night home was horrible, almost as bad as Harrison's, she cried and cried and woke everyone up. Well except for Ethan because nothing wakes up Ethan.  Luckily that was just the one night, and she has been a good sleeper ever since.  She started at 3-4 hour stretches up to 6-7 and now she is sleeping 7-8. I'm not even sure Lincoln has ever slept that long in his life.

Millie was Bullseye and Woody was riding her. Yee-haw!

September 11th

Splash pad Sunday! Harrison gets so excited to go to the splashpad. 21 Months old going on 15. He seems so much older than he is (other than when he wants "milkies"). He's super smart, and funny, and a great dancer. He can count to 5, do all the shapes on the shape ball (super impressive if you ask me), and is starting to talk in phrases.

He runs and runs and runs and just stands under the fountains. I think he would love going to a water park. Hopefully next year when Millie is a bit older we can take them.

Lincoln is less enthusiastic. He gets cold easily, and has to be persuaded to play in the water. ESPECIALLY if there are other kids there, he doesnt' like that at all.

I have no idea why Ethan didn't wear a bathing suit, he always ends up getting wet with them.

Ethan pulled Link in, and once he was wet he was fine and having fun.

Unimpressed Millie at the splashpad.

46 Days

Clean sheets make Lincoln happy. I asked him today what he was going to ask Santa for and he said "blue sheets"

She looks so itty bitty in the crib.
