Day 3: Red

The elves made us breakfast...

And Lincoln and Harrison made Santa faces

Ethan had his winter concert, which wasn't nearly as bad as I feared, just very loud. Of course Millie cried as soon as it got quiet and began, and the two boys had to be removed because they couldn't sit still, but other than that, it was fine.

August 25th

Ethan is now a flute player. No idea how since he scored a 1 on the try outs, they must have been hard up for flute players, but he's happy about it, and it's the cheapest one on the list haha.

Gosh he looks like a big kid here. I can't believe he's about to be 3!!

Millie don't want her brothers to steal her nuk, so she sticks her finger inside it.

29 Days old!

Crazy Harrison using the boxes as cymbals.

August 18th

Me & Linky had a date today. We went to Mommy & Tot craft class and made snake puppets.

She saves all her smiles for Linky.

Went to the park. This is the face of a cool middle schooler who wants to go talk to his friends and not watch his little brothers.

Mad face!

First stroller ride, she liked it as long as it kept moving.

He fell asleep at 3:30, yikes!!

22 days old and already practicing her ballerina moves.
This onesie was the first thing we bought when we found out she was a girl :)

October 23 & 24

We went to our third (and last) pumpkin patch of the season yesterday. Ethan was up sick part of the night, but he felt up to going out to lunch (didn't eat anything) and to the pumpkin patch. He slept most of the ride home, so of course he was up too late last night and didn't want to get up this morning. He stayed home from school today, as he still said his tummy hurt and he didn't really eat much all day. He had half a bowl of noodles for dinner, hoping for a big breakfast tomorrow. He has a 4 day week this week, so I'd hate him to miss any more of it.

His favorite thing at Papa's Pumpkin Patch yesterday was the pumpkin launcher. He was trying to get them through a small hole out in the field, to win a pumpkin. He got close, but didn't make it.Today he laid in bed most of the day, but when he started feeling a bit better we made this cool shrinky dink Halloween tree :) He loves shrinky dinks!

October 16

I was woken up at 6:30 this morning by Mr. Ethan begging me to go carve his pumpkin. I managed to fend him off until 8:30 (Spongebob was on, his latest "favorite" show), but then we got up and carved it. Of course, he won't do any of the actual work because he doesn't like the guts, but he did touch them this year, which is something I guess. He drew on the face too, and popped out the pieces.

Then we had all day to do crafts, so we decided to make jar pumpkins. I did the modge podging and E painted the stems, and drew the faces (which I cut out). I think they turned out super cute!

First Day of Christmas

I saw this super cute idea on another blog, and we decided to do it for Ethan's teacher, Mrs. Baker. Each of the next 12 days of school before Christmas break, he is bringing her a small gift, mostly school supplies with a little poem attached. The first day is a clipboard, which we got at Walmart, and then busted out the Modpodge...Ethan had fun decorating it.

For the first day of Christmas, something for you to use.

I'm giving you this clipboard, so your papers you won't lose!

Pixos!

Santa brought Ethan the deluxe Pixo studio for Christmas. For those who don't know, Pixos are little plastic balls you put together on cards then spray with water to get them to stick together. This project takes patience, as the little balls are hard to pick up, and it takes a day for them to dry. So here is our first Pixo creation...can you guess what it is?
