December 3rd

Day 3: Red

The elves made us breakfast...

And Lincoln and Harrison made Santa faces

Ethan had his winter concert, which wasn't nearly as bad as I feared, just very loud. Of course Millie cried as soon as it got quiet and began, and the two boys had to be removed because they couldn't sit still, but other than that, it was fine.

December 2nd

December theme of the day challenge Day 2 (I missed Day 1)
Favorite Christmas Movie - ours is Elf

Our Elves brought a cute wooden cookie set, it was a big hit! Lincoln played with it for over and hour before falling asleep cuddling the fake knife. (what, that isn't normal??)

November 10th

Swabbing the poop deck of the USS Missouri
What? A Torpedo? Let's sit on it!!
Actually, the two little ones liked to turn the propellers on the back because it was making a horrible squeaking noise that they found hilarious.

It's broken!!
Yes children, it's broken, they are not going to let you shoot things today.

Watching a submarine go by.

We bought Ethan this shirt the day that Bill graduated from basic training in Fort Knox. Funny that it fits Lincoln 10 years later.

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.
Harrison was so confused with all the soldiers in uniform. He went up to several people that were definitely NOT his Daddy and tried to get picked up.

Yeah, she wouldn't look at the camera

He kept running up to give Daddy hugs.

Reenlisted for another 3 years. Hopefully we will get our orders soon and find out where our next adventure will be.

We only saw about 5 minutes of the actual tour, because my children were being buttheads and it was 1000* out and the baby was cooking but we learned that the USS Missouri is bigger than the Titanic, and that it fought in 3 different wars before becoming a museum.

She's fat. And cute :)

October 29th

We just squeaked in our one beach a month goal. It was a yucky, rainy day, but our power was scheduled to be out until 5 pm and I could not sit in the house with the crazies all day. It rained the whole way we were driving there, so we decided we would just let the kids play in the sand and eat lunch, but it ended up being beautiful, and there was almost no one else there.

First touch of ocean! She liked it :)

He liked looking for "treasure". He found driftwood, a shell, a crab claw, and some crabs.

 sleepy baby

almost all looking. I tried to trick them and asked how many fingers I was holding up to get them to look, but then Harrison copied me

jump! and repeat

 lazy boy

that hair!!

Happy to not be getting sunscreened anymore

Testing the waters when we got there, not too cold!

We bought this bathing set the day after we found out we were having a girl. I think I paid full price. No regrets, it's sooooo cute!!

October 15th

When you think of going to the Pumpkin Patch, you think fall. Jackets, boots, hot cider...not in Hawaii. In Hawaii you are red, hot and sweaty and need cold water. It's not quite the experience I had growing up, but they were still excited to pick out their pumpkins. Poor Millie looked like two face last night, she was laying in the tula and half of her face was burnt. We were all drenched in sweat by the time we got back to the car, but the boys took a good nap after that.

Link picked this one, because he wanted it a little bit green.

Ethan didn't pick this one, he ended up getting a smaller, oranger one.

This kid lol.

Last year, he loved this pit of tiny pumpkins. This year, he was disgusted.
