September 11th

Splash pad Sunday! Harrison gets so excited to go to the splashpad. 21 Months old going on 15. He seems so much older than he is (other than when he wants "milkies"). He's super smart, and funny, and a great dancer. He can count to 5, do all the shapes on the shape ball (super impressive if you ask me), and is starting to talk in phrases.

He runs and runs and runs and just stands under the fountains. I think he would love going to a water park. Hopefully next year when Millie is a bit older we can take them.

Lincoln is less enthusiastic. He gets cold easily, and has to be persuaded to play in the water. ESPECIALLY if there are other kids there, he doesnt' like that at all.

I have no idea why Ethan didn't wear a bathing suit, he always ends up getting wet with them.

 Ethan pulled Link in, and once he was wet he was fine and having fun.

Clean sheets make Lincoln happy. I asked him today what he was going to ask Santa for and he said "blue sheets"

August 27

I can't believe she's already a month old!

Millie enjoyed her first trip to the beach. We went to Pokai Bay because they offer free stand up paddle board lessons. Ethan & Bill did them ,and though he fell a few times, dropped my camera into the ocean (which miraculously bill found a bit later), and got beached, I hink he did pretty darn good :) He said it was fun, and he would do it again.

We went for a walk after dinner tonight. Ended up at the park and splash park. Lincoln wanted to play in the park with bro bro and Harrison got soaking wet and had to walk the whole way home lol.

Day 154

Forgot about this toy I bought well over a year ago to give them, so decided why not today. Bad idea. Who thought a sand/water table was a good combo?? What a mess!! Of course, they love it.

Day 151

What a difference a week makes. Last week, Harrison hated the pool, today he jumped in 100 times. He's so silly. Lincoln kept wanting to go from the big pool to the little pool, and got really mad when some little girl called him a girl. I said, he's a boy, and she said then why does he look like a girl. *Insert Lincoln's angry face here*. Funny thing is, he says he's not a boy or a girl, he's just Lincoln George.

Day 149 (Splash Pad)

It took them a little bit, but once they got in the water they liked it (until other kids came anyways).
