First check off of our bucket list was my choice, Byodo-in Temple. On the way there, we stopped at the Pali Lookout for some pictures.
Ethan thinks he got hit in the face with one. Such a crazy sign.
Those 3 guys were World War 2 Vets that were stationed here in 1946. They were telling stories about how the island was back then, and loved Lincoln & Harrison. They asked to take a picture with them and they both ran away lol.
There was a little booth set up with little kites, so we went to buy one and they were free. woot. It was some sort of Chinese Memorial Day, and they gave them each one. We stopped for our picnic up on the side of the mountain up a little bit from the temple. It had amazing views, but I was nervous Harrison was going to fall off a cliff because he's crazy and runs every chance he gets.
This reminds me of Jurassic Park. No dinosaurs were spotted.
Daddy's favorite thing: exploring the temple
Mommy's favorite thing: the amazing views from our picnic spot and not encountering any peacocks
Ethan's favorite thing: flying the kite
Lincoln's favorite thing: the picnic
Harrison's favorite thing: juice
