October 9th

First check off of our bucket list was my choice, Byodo-in Temple. On the way there, we stopped at the Pali Lookout for some pictures.

Those 3 guys were World War 2 Vets that were stationed here in 1946. They were telling stories about how the island was back then, and loved Lincoln & Harrison. They asked to take a picture with them and they both ran away lol.

There was a little booth set up with little kites, so we went to buy one and they were free. woot. It was some sort of Chinese Memorial Day, and they gave them each one. We stopped for our picnic up on the side of the mountain up a little bit from the temple. It had amazing views, but I was nervous Harrison was going to fall off a cliff because he's crazy and runs every chance he gets.

This reminds me of Jurassic Park. No dinosaurs were spotted.

September 29th

64 Days!

Things I learned today:

1. I will never get 4 kids to look and smile at the same time.
2. Don't buy the $10 photo backdrops if you have crazy children who will pee on it & rip it on the first day.
3. My kids are cute no matter the backdrop :)
4. Don't store your credit card info in your kid's ipad.

Day 161

This ended badly. All of the swim diapers were in the wash, so I didnt' put any on them. Yup, Link pooped in the pool. All up in the pool. So gross!

Day 157 (Ethan's 11th Birthday Party)

Pretty sure Ethan had a good birthday party :)

They had lots of water balloons....(that was an hours worth of me making them and Lincoln popping them)

I found Lincoln in the kitchen, eating watermelon. There were about 5 slices with one bite taken out, and then put back on the platter.

Lincoln was more timid than I thought he would be, I thought he would really go to town on it, but he was quite gentle.

Ethan was not as gentle.

Whiff! Daddy thinks he's funny pulling it up when the kids are swinging their hardest.

Day 155

Day 109

 No Harrison, we do not climb up the slide. That is how you hurt your face last week.

See I can do it, I'm so big.

Oh, what? I almost busted my face again? Oh well, I still think I'm funny and will try to climb up the slide one million more times.

He must have worn himself out though, because he fell asleep like this.

Day 100

100 days of 2016 are already gone. How crazy is that?

My babies are getting big. Harrison wanted to try the big boy swing (he was scared and wanted back in his baby swing thank goodness) and just look how grown up Lincoln looked today.

He likes shopping at home depot, there are so many things for him to explore. We are redoing a dresser for his Batman room, and he got to pick drawer knobs today. Big fun!

We also had to run over to Target because we needed more bubbles. The bubble guns are still going strong and have gone through every bubble in the house, plus a batch of homemade bubbles.

Day 53

 

I have a new dinner helper, he's very good at shaking the shake n bake :)

This guy has a cough, but he's not sick. And he's scrunched into his shirt, but he's not cold. So don't even ask him.

Day 41

My model is grumpy today. I didn't get any smiles.
