Ethan decided that pirates aren't cool, and he wants a Super Mario room. So now that I have a ton of time on my hands to work on projects, I'm slowing starting to make things for his new "bigger boy" room. So here is my first completed project - a small night table. I found the table at Goodwill for $4, sanded it down (ok Bill might have helped a LITTLE with that part), had Bill spray paint it blue and then painted the first scene from Super Mario Bros. 1 on the table top. I think it turned out pretty good! I've never free hand painted before, so I'm pretty proud of myself LOL Before

This was the reference picture I was using, mine is slightly different, I made my clouds cuter and added the mushroom for more color.
