Day 91

Bill got called in for a 24 hour shift at the very last minute, we had a long day.

 Harrison refuses to eat out of dishes. It drives me crazy. Not only did he dump his food out, but then he tried to dance on top of it, slipped on noodles, and hit his forehead so hard on the floor that he is now sporting a nice lump/bruise combo.

 I'm starting to think that Ethan's teacher has some weird hat fetish. They are having a parade on Friday and he had to make a "thinking cap" aka any hat he wants. Weird, but he likes it and had fun making it.

And I made the first thing for Mille's room. It's going to be purple/teal/green under the sea/mermaid themed. Harrison's side will have turtles and/or sharks. I need to make another bow holder but ran out of paint, but I think it turned out pretty cute.

Super Mario

Ethan decided that pirates aren't cool, and he wants a Super Mario room. So now that I have a ton of time on my hands to work on projects, I'm slowing starting to make things for his new "bigger boy" room. So here is my first completed project - a small night table. I found the table at Goodwill for $4, sanded it down (ok Bill might have helped a LITTLE with that part), had Bill spray paint it blue and then painted the first scene from Super Mario Bros. 1 on the table top. I think it turned out pretty good! I've never free hand painted before, so I'm pretty proud of myself LOL
