Family Feast

Ethan's school had their Thanksgiving Family Feast today. They piled everyone into the cafeteria, and when you saw your kid you had to hurry and get in line with them...it was crazy. Then we had 20 minutes to eat this delicious lunch.....

Looks delicious, no? Let's just say Ethan was very glad that he brought his usual lunch of a peanut butter sandwich and didn't have to eat "the feast".

This was super cute. Each kid colored a turkey, and different colors stood for different things. If you had siblings, color your beak yellow, if not, orange. If you like turkey, brown body, if not black, etc. Then you had to figure out which turkey was your child's and their picture is underneath. I guesses Ethan's on the first try :)

Happy Fake Thanksgiving!

My parents came down this weekend and we had our fake Thanksgiving meal. Mom made turkey (gross!!!) and I made pie (yum!!!) :P Ethan wanted chicken nuggets & french fries, but settled for corn, mashed potatoes, a bun & lots of olives. He definately gets his olive love from my side of the family, Bill thinks they're gross.

We went to see Disney's Christmas Carol in 3D. It was a long 90 minutes. E thought it was boring, and I have to agree. The old English they were speaking was hard for me to follow, so I'm sure he had no clue what they were saying. I wouldn't see it again, that's for sure. There are a bunch of movies coming out that we want to see . Area 51, Princess & the Frog & Chipmunks Squeakwell - I think for one of them I'm going to put tickets in his Christmas stocking.

Granny brought some sugar cookies for E to decorate. They turned out colorful & super yummy!

The Army is supposed to be giving us a Thanksgiving basket, so I might be making a turkey this year. I hope it's not a big one, since only Bill will eat it.
