I almost feel like this is a glimpse into their future LOL. Drunk guys in a frat house or something.

February 16th

Today was beautiful - in the low 70s. I got to hang some clothes on the line outside and we got to play when E got home from school. Of course he insisted on changing into shorts, a choice he probably regrets now. Some dogs wandered into our yard and scared him, and as he was coming up the stairs of our deck, Elvis ran down to bark at the dogs, and his lead tripped E up the stairs. He banged his nose and both legs and his hip. I think he's going to have a black eye tomorrow :(

Happy New Year!

After the crazy weather yesterday, we've just been hanging out at home. We are very thankful that the tornado wasn't near our house. My friend Jennifer's old house was completely destroyed, so scary!! E went to bed around 10 last night, I'm a mean momma and want to get him back to his school schedule before next week or he is going to be so crabby. Bill & I just watched "MacGruber" which was horrible. That was our exciting new years!

E has been slowly getting out all his new toys. So far we've played with Aquasand...from Santa...it's very cool but SOOOO messy! I really hope it doesn't clog up our drain, since I had him play it in the bathtub.

And the hotwheels color changing track that Dodo & Steve got him. Also super messy!! He loves it, but it gets water everywhere...I also made him play this one in the bathroom. I'm thinking of pulling his water table in from outside and setting it in the basement for these messy toys. Not sure if it would work with the track, but the aquasand should fit on it.

He also has his new Mario sheets & blanket from Granny & Papa on his bed. He thinks it's the coolest thing EVER. He is getting on me for not repainting his pirate dresser to Mario, so I think that will be one of my projects this month once he's back to school.
