Sunshine on my Window makes me Happy

Another beautiful day! 77* right now & sunny =D We gave stink dog a bath and E ventured into the sprinkler for a bit this afternoon, but the water was awfully cold, so it didn't last too long.

It was 70* today woot woot! We are definately enjoying getting outside to play. He dug out all his toys from last summer....

Chicken Nuggets and Bratty Kids

Today was beautiful - 65* and sunny. There was a bit of a breeze, but nothing too chilling. We went to lunch and let E pick, so McDonald's of course. Bill saw that they were still doing their 50 McNugget special - 50 nuggets, 2 large fries, and 2 drinks for $15. Now, it's probably a good deal, but really who needs 50 chicken nuggets?! Apparently Bill does - Ethan ate 6, I had 10, and Bill ate 34 McNuggets (barf).Then we headed to the park in our town - it was our first time going. It was pretty nice, but a bit too busy for my taste. I dont' like other people's kids. They are mostly rude, bratty kids pushing and running and not looking out for others. E had fun though. He loved the slides and these crazy things you step on, and they move around, I don't know how to explain them, but when we first got there he was scared of it, and by the time we left he was a pro.

When we got home, he wanted to go sledding, so he sled on the grass for a while, silly boy. He didn't want to sled when we had snow, but now that it's gone he wants to.

I'm the winner!

Last night I was helping Bill with his homework (his classes are done now yay!) so we let Ethan stay up a little late and play Mario Party. About 9:00 I go to check on him and this is what I find....Dead asleep and still gripping the controller in his hands. lol But don't worry....he waited until he won the game to pass out!

Spring is Coming!

We finally got a nice day to play outside today. Woo hoo! It was 60* today and is supposed to be that nice all through the weekend. We're planning to head over to the park tomorrow, but here are some pictures from playing today. He was just so glad to be out of the house (me too!) that he kept running up and down the driveway for a while. We busted out the chalk & bubbles too. He insisted on wearing short sleeves & roll up pants, and said he wasn't cold. Although if it were up to him he would wear shorts every day of the year. I did make him wear them down as pants for school this morning - it was only 20* at 8 am. BRRR. We're all so sick of the cold and being cooped up in the house, we're so ready for spring to get here!

Valentine Cupcakes

My little chef and I made Valentine Cupcakes today. They are funfetti (Ethan's choice...yuck!!) and we dyed them pink. Then he picked out purple & dark pink to make our frosting & I let him at the sprinkles.

I haven't had much to blog about lately. The past two weekends it has snowed, and when it snows we don't leave the house. On Friday the mail lady tried to stop in front of our house and slid down about 5 more houses :( I'm not about to do that! And I just heard that we are supposed to get 6 more inches between tonight & Tuesday. UGH!! If it snows tonight, Bill & Ethan will probably be off school & work tomorrow and we'll sit around yet another day. Ethan is over sledding - he has no interest anymore. I might make him go this afternoon b/c I'm bored!!!

I've been planning our trip to Florida in June the past few days. Thinking about vacation helps me forget about the darn snow. We're going to Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and maybe a day at the ocean. We're so excited!!
